CARLETON PLACE/BECKWITH

Carleton Place is a town in Eastern Ontario in Lanark County west of downtown Ottawa. Halfway between the towns of Perth, Almonte, Smiths Falls and Ottawa. Beckwith township is part of the same neighbourhood and is on the Mississippi River. Great neighbourhood to live in as it provides the conveniences of the city, but the friendliness of a small town. There are a variety of housing options including: mobile homes, apartments, townhomes, duplexes, bungalows and single-family detached homes for sale and rent. Almost half of the residents in Carleton Place rent. Carleton Place is home to many public and Catholic schools. The public schools fall under The Upper Canada District School Board directory and the catholic schools fall under the Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario directory.
